Rest and Recharge at this retreat with puzzles and crafts and hot cocoa by the fire! Grades 9-12 will catch up on rest and relax this weekend. Come as you are for this cozy weekend. You just need to bring yourself, toiletries, and any crafts you enjoy. Linens are provided.

We are exploring different kinds of rest–spiritual, creative, emotional etc–and enjoying lounging by the fire in our pajamas. Cost is $100 per person before February 17th, and $150 for late registration. Drop off window is 5pm-7pm on Friday March 3rd. Closing Eucharist is 11am on Sunday March 5th and departure is 12pm. The Rest & Recharge High School retreat will be March 3rd-5th at the Solomon Episcopal Conference Center in Loranger, LA. This cozy weekend is a come-as-you are very relaxed get together for grades 9-12. What should my youth pack?

You don’t need linens or towels. Layers for inside/outside activities. Fun long pajamas for the pajama party. Options: A portable musical instrument you enjoy or board games, card games, small crafting projects etc

 

What are the accommodations?

Solomon Center’s renovated lodge rooms have 2 full beds and a small bathroom.

Roommate requests are welcomed.

If siblings should be in separate rooms, please indicate that on the registration form.

If not requesting a roommate, a youth who is also the same gender who is in the same or similar grade will be assigned.

 

What about allergies and medications?

Dietary restrictions are accommodated on a personal basis. We love the kitchen at Solomon!

All medications are labeled and turned in at registration and distributed by the nurse for the weekend.

 

Who are the adults staffing the event?

All safeguarding trained members of the diocesan youth leadership committee

What if my friends aren’t Epscopalian?

The more the merrier! All faith backgrounds are welcome.
