The Very Rev. Dr. Jean M. Meade will retire as rector of Mount Olivet Episcopal Church in New Orleans. She has been the rector of Mount Olivet since 2002. She was also serving as dean of the Downtown Deanery. A celebration of her ministry will take place on Sunday, November 22 at 10:00 AM.
Environmental Evangelism Working with Watersheds of the Gulf Coast Eco-Region
Environmental Evangelism is actively working across the Gulf Coast Eco-Region, one of twelve eco-regions within The Episcopal Church. Eco-Regions are part of a new grassroots approach to creation care and environmental justice, bringing dioceses and communities together around shared ecosystems, watersheds, and environmental concerns.
