Bishop Thompson as appointed the Rev. William “Bill” Terry to serve as dean of the Downtown Deanery upon the retirement of the Very Rev. Dr. Jean Meade. Fr. Bill is the rector of St. Anna’s Episcopal Church, New Orleans.

Environmental Evangelism is actively working across the Gulf Coast Eco-Region, one of twelve eco-regions within The Episcopal Church. Eco-Regions are part of a new grassroots approach to creation care and environmental justice, bringing dioceses and communities together around shared ecosystems, watersheds, and environmental concerns.
