Our diocese once again gathered in worship and celebration for a Spirit-filled Pride Mass. At the heart of this liturgy is a simple but profound commitment: to place the LGBTQ+ community not at the margins, but front and center. That centering is itself an act of welcome, and it was felt throughout the celebration.
The Rev. John Pitzer served as celebrant, with The Rt. Rev. Shannon Duckworth preaching. The Rev. Allison Reid, Rector of St. Anna’s, and the Rev. Deacon Luigi Mandile and the Rev. Deacon Ben Nobles also served at the altar.
