Pride Parade 2026

June 16, 2026

Inclusive Louisiana, the LGBTQ+ ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana, led congregation members from across the diocese in this year’s Pride Parade in New Orleans.

A few early showers gave way to clear skies — and then, between the rooftops of the French Quarter, a bonafide rainbow appeared!

Again and again, people called out: “Thank you for being here.”

This year carries special weight. It marks the 50th anniversary of The Episcopal Church affirming that LGBTQ+ people hold a full and equal place in the life of the Church. We say “All are welcome” and being a bright presence in the Pride Parade is one of the ways we make that promise visible — a Church not just open in spirit, but present in the world.
