Missioner for Congregational Development
We are pleased to welcome the Rev. Allison Reid as the diocesan missioner for congregational development. In this role, she will oversee congregational development, Safeguarding God’s Children, and youth and young adult ministries. She will also serve as part-time priest-in-charge at St. Mark’s, Harvey. The Rev. Allison Reid graduated in May from the School of Theology at the University of the South, Sewanee. She will be ordained to the priesthood on July 1, 2021.
Missioner for Hispanic Ministry
We are pleased to welcome the Rev. Benjamín Sánchez as the Missioner for Hispanic Ministry in the Diocese of Louisiana. This is a new ministry forming in our diocese. In his role, Father Sánchez will be reaching out to clergy and congregations to explore how he can support them and determine the needs in their Hispanic communities. His office will be located at St. Augustine’s, Metairie, and a Spanish service will be held weekly there at 12:30 starting June 27
