The Rev. Bobby Hadzor was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons on Wednesday, May 17 at St. Augustine’s, Metairie. He will serve as a deacon at St Augustine’s, as well as continue to work as the chaplain at Trinity Episcopal School in New Orleans. Later this year he will be ordained to the Sacred Order of Priests.
In the service, the Very Rev. AJ Heine, rector of St. Augustine’s, preached and Bishop Thompson was the celebrant.
Environmental Evangelism is actively working across the Gulf Coast Eco-Region, one of twelve eco-regions within The Episcopal Church. Eco-Regions are part of a new grassroots approach to creation care and environmental justice, bringing dioceses and communities together around shared ecosystems, watersheds, and environmental concerns.
