Four organizations received Gaudet Community Grants. We are catching up with them through Facebook:

St. Anna’s, New Orleans

St. Anna’s received two grants to support their Anna’s Place ministry. One was to support after school programming which is an arts-integrated, project-learning curriculum developed by a music educator in conjunction with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and Carnegie Hall.

The second grant provided support for the Anna’s Place summer enrichment program.

We love the color green! Green is typically associated with the heart chakra. It symbolizes harmony, creativity, health, abundance and nature. We are cultivating the green things!

The kids took a field trip to New Orleans Museum of Art! They made art of their own and paraded around the sculpture garden, learning about the sculptures and the artists behind them.
