The Rev. John Pitzer‘s Holy Orders were received into the Episcopal Church by the Rt. Rev. Morris K. Thompson, Jr. on May 21 at St. James, Baton Rouge. He will serve as the head of the St. James Center for Spiritual Formation.
Archdeacon and Writer Charles deGravelles Featured in Upcoming Documentary on Billy Cannon
A new documentary about football legend Billy Cannon, to be aired on WLPB next month, will feature interviews with Archdeacon Charles deGravelles, whose award-winning biography of Cannon was published in 2015 (LSU Press).
