The Racial Reconciliation Commission of the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana participated in the peaceful demonstration in Baton Rouge on Sunday, June 10. This rally was organized by the youth-led Wave for Justice. They marched to the Louisiana State Capitol Building to stand with the lives lost and read a list of demands the youth of Baton Rouge have for the community. The demands include sentencing equity, a statewide police registry and a police code of conduct developed by the community.

On Friday, June 9, the Racial Reconciliation Commission of the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana participated in a rally at Lee Circle in New Orleans. The RRC walked in love and compassion to stand with those lives lost in the community.
