Out of the Shadows into the Light: A Liturgy of Hope and Healing
The Racial Healing Commission of the Diocese of Louisiana welcomes The Rev. Canon Stephanie Spellers to lead us on the next steps toward beloved community. Come together, break down barriers, and unite in a commitment to truth-telling, justice and healing. Inspired by the way of Jesus and illuminated with prayer, song, scripture and proclamation, we seek inspiration and courage to create a more just world by loving one another and serving God.
After the service, Canon Spellers will be available for book-signing, including The Church Cracked Open and her brand new book, Church Tomorrow?: What the ‘Nones’ and ‘Dones’ Teach Us About the Future of Faith. Learn more at www.stephaniespellers.com.
