COVINGTON, La., September 8, 2021 — Christ Church, Covington, held a supply give away this morning for those affected by Hurricane Ida. Clergy and parishioners distributed cleaning supplies, baby diapers, baby formula, toiletries, snacks, and water.

NEW ORLEANS, September 10, 2021 — Brother Todd van Alstyne, Les Leathem, and Jeremiah Smith (St Augustine’s Church) loaded the last two barrels of gas from the cathedral, and transported them to the hard hit town of Lafitte.

Gutting St. Andrew’s, Bayou Dularge

THERIOT, La., September 11, 2021 — Deacon Jay Albert led a day to help gut St. Andrew’s, Bayou Dularge. Brian Allen, Owen Carmichael, Deacon Joey Clavijo, and Laurence deQuay answered the call to assist in the work. A parishioner from Grace Church, St. Francisille, will soon pick up the old cypress pews and furniture to restore them.
