Deacon Joyce Eskamire-Jackson retired from active ministry on Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons in December 2007 and served at St. Anna’s, New Orleans. Throughout her ministry she was dedicated to serving women and children at risk, especially those in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans.
