New Beginnings #1 for grades 6th-8th
This retreat is brand new to the Diocese of Louisiana!
New Beginnings is a weekend specifically for youth in grades 6th-8th. During the weekend, participants meet peers from across the state, enjoy skits, listen to talks, and participate in small group activities and discussions. These activities focus on friends, parents, siblings, school, God’s love, prayer, and the church. Free time is built in for fellowship with newfound friends.

You can expect FUN!
Thank you in advance for being fully vaccinated before arriving at the retreat. Those who have been fully vaccinated are able to go without masks while inside. New Beginnings can only be experienced in person, which is why we are doing everything we can to meet together while following CDC, state, and diocesan guidelines.
Registration is not open at this time..
High School Staff in grades 9-12 work together to bring the love of Christ to all participants. You do not need to have attended New Beginnings to serve on staff. There are both speaking (giving a “talk”) and non-speaking roles during the weekend.
Applications for staff roles for youth, college young adults, and adults, have not been opened yet.
