St. Luke’s and the Diocese of Louisiana will be offering a free, community-wide, senior resource fair called “Embracing the Journey,” in Witter Hall. This end-of-life planning fair is designed for seniors, their spouses, children, or other potential caregivers. This fair offers a unique opportunity for learning, where attendees sit at round tables for 30-minute sessions with presenters, including representatives from the Veterans’ Affairs Office, a financial planner, Medicare information from the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP), Fr. Bryan, a representative from a funeral home, a representative from a senior care organization, certified public accountants, and a professional organizer.
