We are very excited to be joined by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry as well as Canon Mary MacGregor. Canon MacGregor will lead us through conversations around hope and creativity. On Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Dr. Jane Patterson, Associate professor of New Testament and President, Anglican Associate of Biblical Scholars, will be our presenter. I hope that the diversity of this agenda will be informative and encouraging to you in your ministry.
We have learned much during the season of COVID and we still have much to discover. I look forward to seeing you January 25-26.

Meet Canon Mary M. MacGregor
Mary has a passion for serving God through the Episcopal Church. She retired from the bishop’s staff of the Diocese of Texas as Canon for Congregational Vitality and Mission Amplification in 2017. Her 20 years of diocesan ministry entailed consultations, speaking, search committee training, vestry retreats, clergy coaching, congregational coach training, stewardship work, church planter training, clergy conference design, and new clergy education in the 150+ churches of the diocese. Simultaneously she served as Executive Director of the Iona School for Ministry. In addition to her diocesan work she has been invited to speak, consult and train in 46 dioceses of the Episcopal Church. Mary is currently serving as a certified facilitator and trainer for Invite, Welcome, Connect and is a member of the Board of Directors for the College for Bishops and the Episcopal Network for Stewardship.
She holds a B.A. in History and English from Louisiana State University, an M. Ed. from Southern University, and was granted an Honorary Doctorate in Ministry from the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest in recognition of her contributions to the Episcopal Church.
Mary is a member of St Christopher Episcopal Church and lives in League City, Texas.
She has been married to Bob for 51 years, has two grown sons and four adorable grandchildren!
