DESCRIPTION:Bishop Duckworth and Dean David duPlantier invite you to the 4th Annual EDOLA Acolyte Festival!\n\n\nChrist Church Cathedral\, NOLA (in parish hall\, enter on Sixth Street) \nSchedule: \n\n\n\n9 AM: Acolyte Festival begins\, light refreshments provided\n\n11:15 AM: Holy Eucharist \nAcolytes (and those who would like to possibly become acolytes) of all ages will enjoy a time of conversation and sharing with Bishop Duckworth and other diocesan acolyte leaders about this important ministry of service to God’s people. \nThere will be special opportunities for adults and older youth to learn about the specialized ministries of serving as Verger (master of Ceremony) and Thurifer (incense bearer). \n\n\n\n\nThe Festival will culminate in a Eucharist beginning in the Cathedral at 11:15 a.m. to which all are invited (no registration is necessary to attend the Eucharist). \nDress is casual\, no vestments are needed.
