DESCRIPTION:Please join the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana for this solemn event as we recall the steps of Christ carrying the cross. \n3:00–3:15pm: Gather in front of St. George’s to begin the Stations.\nStations 1–4 will be said before beginning our walk to the Cathedral\, carrying a large cross down St. Charles Ave. \n3:30–3:45pm: Gather in front of the Cathedral.\nStations 5–8 will be said before beginning our walk to Trinity\, carrying a large cross. \n4:00–4:15pm: Gather in front of Trinity.\nStations 9–12 will be said before ending the Stations. \nStarting location: St. George’s Episcopal Church\, 4600 St. Charles Ave.\nSecond location: Christ Church Cathedral\, 2919 St. Charles Ave.\nEnding location: Trinity Episcopal Church\, 1329 Jackson Ave. \nThose wishing to return to St. George’s are encouraged to use the streetcar on St. Charles Ave. \nFor more information\, please contact Fr. DESCRIPTION:Register HERE! \nHappening is back\, and we are so excited for your youth to join us!  \nHappening is a youth-led weekend retreat for students in grades 10–12. This powerful experience invites youth to deepen their relationship with God by asking real\, honest questions about faith and exploring the many ways God is already present in their lives. Set within a supportive\, encouraging\, and joy-filled community\, Happening offers space for meaningful conversations\, worship\, laughter\, and growth\, often becoming a weekend that youth remember as a turning point in their faith journey. \nHappening #85 will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge from April 10-12\, 2026. The cost to attend is $99\, which covers the full weekend experience. They can be frozen. \nCookie Directions:\n\n1. Make any kind of cookies you like\, but no fruit\, raisins\, molasses\, powdered sugar\, or bar cookies. For example\, chocolate chip\, M &M’s\, peanut butter\, snickerdoodles\, or sugar cookies are great. Make the cookies about 2 ¾” in diameter. \n2. Please place cookies in a quart-size bag. \n3. Place 12 in a bag\, packaged in 4 stacks of three. They should fit tightly to allow them to travel well. Let the cookies cool completely before bagging. Cookies can be made ahead and frozen.

DESCRIPTION:The Pfister Sisters Perform Traditional Jazz! \nSunday\, April 19.\n5–6 p.m. (Doors open at 4:30 p.m.) \nThe ever-popular Pfister Sisters – Holley Bendtsen\, Yvette Voelker\, and Karen Stoehr – will headline will be accompanied by Amasa Miller on piano\, and Matt Rhody on violin\, and selections will include Sentimental Journey\, Heebie Jeebie Blues\, Dinah\, St. Louis Blues and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B. \nThe group has performed traditional jazz in three-part harmony at regional\, national and international venues and events for over 20 years and have graced stages with New Orleans royalty like The Neville Brothers\, Ernie-K-Doe\, Frankie Ford\, Marcia Ball\, Leigh “Li’l Queenie” Harris\, Charmaine Neville and Banu Gibson and superstars Linda Rondstadt\, Jimmy Buffet and Dr. John. \nThe Third Sunday Concert Series is an outreach of Christ Episcopal Church\, Covington. The one-hour concerts are free and open to the public and are followed by a reception in the parish hall for the performers and audience. \nThe 2025-26 season will conclude on May 17 with a performance by teen piano phenom River Eckert\, who channels the styles of New Orleans legends Professor Longhair\, James Booker and Dr. John. \nChrist Episcopal Church is located at 120 S.
