DESCRIPTION:Join us for an intensive 18-hour spiritual growth experience designed to equip participants as Godly Play leaders. This hands-on training combines discovery learning with practical skill development in an atmosphere of prayer and play. \nWhat You’ll Experience:\nA full Godly Play session as an adult participant\nPractice presenting Sacred Stories\, Parables\, and Liturgical Action lessons\nThree major presentations on the Spirituality of Children\, Sacred Space & Environment\, and Supporting the Community of Children\nSmall group work and personal reflection time\nThe art of “wondering” with biblical stories \nWho Should Attend:\nThose wanting to become fluent in Godly Play practice\nNew and experienced volunteers seeking deeper understanding\nProgram coordinators and religious education directors\nAnyone interested in children’s spirituality and narrative-based faith formation \nTraining Approach: Following the same principles used with children\, this training emphasizes experiential learning\, community building\, and creating sacred space. Participants will present stories and receive supportive feedback in a circle of fellow learners. \nNo prior Godly Play experience required\, though some familiarity is helpful.
