Listening Session for the Clergy
Location: Solomon Episcopal Conference Center, Loranger
The Search & Nominating Committee for the next Bishop of Louisiana wants to hear from you! Our diocesan profile needs to articulate who we are as a diocese and where God is calling us to go. We will share this profile with the wider Church and prospective bishop candidates. Your input is an important part of assembling the profile.
At the conclusion of the clergy gathering on August 19, the Rev. Rob Courtney will host an optional 90-minute clergy listening session for participants to express their perspectives and opinions pertaining to the search for a new bishop of the Diocese of Louisiana.

Election of the 12th Bishop of Louisiana
The Electing Convention was held at Christ Church Cathedral on May 14, 2022. The Rev. Canon Shannon Duckworth was elected 12th bishop of Louisiana on the first ballot. Watch her acceptance speech here.
