Integrity New Orleans and St. Anna’s Episcopal Church, New Orleans, organized a Krewe of Episcopalians to march in the New Orleans Pride Parade on Saturday, June 18. The message was to share God’s love with the crowd and to say loudly, “The Episcopal Church welcomes you!” They high-fived their way down the route and handed out fans decorated with flowers, a useful parade throw in the 90 degree heat. The parade crowd welcomed the krewe with open arms and a chorus of thank-yous for supporting the and all those in the LGBT community.
