Message to EHS Facutly, Staff, Students

by Staff

Dear Faculty and Staff, In the event Episcopal has a school closure some decisions have been made. They will be posted on the web, but please share them with your students.

  • On the first day back, ALL classes will meet.   Please see the attached “Non-cycle Instructional Schedule”.    After we return, a decision will follow on how best to reenter the cycle.
  • Plan to start posting detailed assignments through WhippleHill if school has not re-opened by Monday, September 8th.
  • Encourage your students to share both cell-phone and land-line numbers with classmates, in the event assignments are being posted and an individual’s household remains without power.
  • We will not be considering any non-standard admissions applicants until we have determined that our campus ready for occupancy.
  • Reciprocal arrangements are in place with the three parish day schools.  In the event that buildings are damaged, classes will be temporarily relocated so that school can resume as soon as possible.
Thank you all for everything you’re doing to help Episcopal prepare for the storm.  I recognize that we all have personal preparations as well.
I know you join me in praying for the safety of all who will be in the path of the storm,
Kay Betts
