Donate

By God's grace we are in a position to aid those who are less fortunate than us here in Louisiana and elsewhere around the country. With your generous support, we are able as Christians to heal our communities and honor the dignity and worth of every human being.

If you would like to make a gift to one of our worthwhile funds, you may do so here through our secure website. You may also call the Development office at 225-706-6634 and speak with Liz Shortess, or e-mail her at lshortess@edola.org.

Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief
In an effort to reach out to our friends in Christ, and to assist them with their recovery efforts we are asking donations be made to Episcopal Community Services, 1623 Seventh Street, New Orleans, LA 70115 or here online. The money will be sent directly to the Diocese of Tohoku by Episcopal Community Services. Click here to Donate now.

Some of the important ministries receiving funding from the Appeal are:
  • Campus Ministry at Tulane and Loyola Universities
  • Youth Programs at All Souls’ Mission in the 9th Ward
  • The Diocesan Youth Coordinator and the SECC Youth Campus
  • The many and varied programs of the diocese

The Episcopal Church Foundation is pleased to administer donations to help rebuild our Episcopal Diocese of Haiti.
All donations will be directed toward rebuilding the Cathedral Complex.

ECSLA achieves its mission through complementary strategies of direct assistance, neighborly collaboration, leadership development, community empowerment, advocacy, and pastoral care.
We understand ourselves to be servants working to honor the God-given dignity of all members
of our community.

For This reason, because I have heard of your Faith in The Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. Ephesians 1:15-16

The Diocesan Perpetual Memorial & Endowment Fund (DPM&EF) was established in 2005 at the urging of Bishop Charles Jenkins. Endorsed by the Executive Board and received by the 168th Convention, this worthy program provides a method for making fitting, tangible memorials and living endowments in thanksgiving for those whose lives have made an indelible mark on the Body of Christ in South Louisiana.

These gifts and legacies build, over time, a vital resource for the preservation and strengthening of the ministry of the Episcopal Church on all levels, from the newest mission congregation to diocesan wide projects. And, as only the income from the invested funds may be used at any given time, the generosity shown through this program insures a firm financial foundation long after donations are made.
